Special Situation Funds

In addition to Anka's management of several discretionary funds, Anka also pursues special assets that may fall outside its Funds' investment parameters in partnership with various institutional and other capital sources. For example, Anka has executed a strategic partnership with an institutional capital source to pursue special transactions requiring up to $50 million per transaction.

The following are some of the key attributes of one capital source with which Anka has formed a strategic partnership:

    • Able to pursue a variety of product types

    • Able to acquire the underlying asset directly or control the asset through the purchase of note sales

    • Additional co-investment capital available to exceed $300 million

    • Capital comes from well-known institutional sources, including public and private pension funds

    • Quick Closings: history of performing due diligence and closings within 30 days
